Recently acquired an end-grain cutting board personalized with laser imprinting crafted by Dan Flint of Flint's Woodshop. Amazing piece of functioning art!
My piece is absolutely beautiful (guests constantly ooh and ahh when they see it)! It is a fine piece of functioning art; as an added bonus, the end grain construction does not dull the edge of my knife as would any other type of cutting board. Daniel is a craftsman *and* an artist, and when not in use I have my cutting board on display for all to see. I look forward to seeing what else he creates, as his items can be customized for me to use as gifts for family and friends.
